James Marsters Concert

Known more for his persona as Spike from the hit television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, James Marsters has been playing in bands and solo for many years. In the early days, he performed covers of classic rock, folk and blues from artists such as Tom Waits, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. Following the massively popular musical episode of Buffy, “Once More, with Feeling”, for which he sang four songs, Marsters moved on to become the lead singer of the band Ghost of the Robot. They recorded their first album, Mad Brilliant, in five days and performed at two sold-out European tours. His solo acoustic career started shortly after the bands break-up in 2004 (though they reformed in 2010), releasing two solo albums and touring at sold-out events. Many reviewers have commented that they went in to see Spike from the Whedonverse, but after hearing him live, they were impressed and only heard James Marsters, the talented musician.
